Does this trip in china sound like it will be good?

got about 6 days to travel and have planned this trip. how does it sound?

i live in Beijing and plan to take an overnight train from Beijing to Xi'an.

arrive in the morning and hire a driver for the day ( or maybe use taxis ) to go to terracotta warriors and the city walls. take another overnight train that night to cheng du

arrive in morning and just look round a bit. stay in a hotel that night.

the next day we would go and see the pandas ( probably with a tour ) and take an overnight train that night to kunming

arrive in kunming in the morning, take a bus at some point that day to lijiang. stay in a hotel/hostel that night in lijiang.

spend the next 2 days in lijiang doing day trips to the gorge and whatever else is nearby and then fly back to beijing?

how does this sound? too tiring? anyone know how long the bus takes from kunming to lijiang? should we spend 3 nights in lijiang or spend 1 in kunming and go to the stone forest and only 2 in lijiang?

thanks

I think it is too much for 6 days. Maybe you should concentrate in two cities, such Xian and Chengdu, or Kuanming and Lijiang.
What you are squeezing into 6 days I took three weeks to do, if you live in Beijing you know that nothing ever goes as planned... if you pull this off it will be lots of amazing stuff that you will need to revisit because you didn't have enough time. I am unsure of the time between Kunming and Lijiang because I stopped in Dali to sleep the night before going to a remote Village, then on to Lijiang.
Sounds great! While you're out visiting the terracotta warriors, give yourself some time to walk along the Great Wall.
It actually sounds pretty good. I lived in Kunming for six and a half years and I'm happy you're going there. I've been all over the country and personally think Yunnan is the most beautiful province. Have fun!
