Well you can block third party cookies using about:config in firefox 2.x

Open firefox and type in 'about:config' (without quotes) in the address bar.

Now in the filter bar which comes up type in 'network.cookie' (without quotes) . The preference that'll disable 3rd party cookie is network.cookie.cookiebehavior . Double click on it and enter 1 in the box which comes up and hit OK. And restart firefox. From now onwards all third party cookies will be disabled.

You could also use certain extensions to block/allow cookies . cookiesafe is one of the good ones. you can use 'cookieculler' along with it.

Search more extensions based on cookies in the firefox addons page: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox...

micro trend - inter net security free!
You should clear your cookies immediately and block them.

Download an extension called ''Extended Cookie Manager'',this will allow you to only allow the cookies you require.

Firefox will allow you to automatically clear cookies when you close Firefox. All you have to do is go to Tools/Options.
turn them off in tools %26gt; internet options in both ie and firefox
