My computer is slowin way down. the sound is choppy for everything. process is at 80% how do i cut t

i've got adware se, scanned with panda software, i have symantec anti virus so i'm pretty sure it's not viruses, spyware, or add ware. how do i cut the junk and speed things up. i've got a gig of ram, i defragged, i cleaned up the disk, what else can i do short of wiping my computer again? the internet still works great. just openin browsers and windows explorer, my mouse, all of it is just slow and laggy.

You probably have too many programs starting up when your computer starts.

If you are running windows xp,

go to start

go to run

type ''MSCONFIG''

Go to the ''startup'' tab

uncheck all the boxes of things that you do not want to start up when windows starts.

restart your computer.

Well if you have nroton it takes a bit after you loggin but your sound is the fault of the soeakers it dosnt matter how solow the computer is, the computer waits until the sound is done loading
