In fact the Panda is not a bear, it is more closely related to the raccoon. My favorite bear is the California Grizzly, now extinct.

By the way the Koala is not a bear either, it is a marsupial, like a kangaroo.

I agree. Panda bears are superb. They are like pirates with thier black patch over one eye. Any animal that is like a pirate is instantly the Vanilla Ice of the animal kingdom.

(Koalas are pretty much fantastic too. Silver medal to them).
