I deleted a program and now i cant uninstall it?

I deleted macaffee, a anitvirus program in the properties where i hit "Find target" now i tried to download panda from mircosoft . com and when i tried to install it said

Panda finds some programs and cant work with it to uninstall macaffe click uninstall

i did but then it said cant find macaffee so cant uninstall

but it still wont install panda

i also cant find macaffee in the uninstall section how do i get rid of macafee

The link below will take you to a McAfee support page which contains a link to a uninstall tool. You would have required this tool even had you not deleted the program from you Program Files folders.

Click on the link which has the words Uninstall in it, and it will take you to a page where you can download the MCPR tool. MCPR--McAfee Consumer Product Removal tool.

I doubt you know this, but nearly every firewall and anti-virus product on the market today is extremely difficult to remove, and Add/Remove will *not* do so properly, leaving behind fragments of the program, and sometimes even the entire firewall application, because of design. Not only are they built this way because of how they need to be installed to carry out security functions, but some of the security software vendors make it so difficult to encourage Users to keep their products. Rather sneaky if you ask me, but it is the truth, plain and simple.
