Ok so i was thinking of getting a hamster and i was wondering what the best kind is, but i dont want

i DO NOT want a dwarf hamster so any type that is not a dwarf hamster just suggest and possibly give a link to so i can see what they look like. I have always liked the long haired ones and the panda but if those arent the best types forget it.

the panda bear hamsters and the lon g haired hamsters are the same as Syrian hamsters. Syrian hamsters are also teddy bear hamsters! I would get a teddy bear hamster because they are bigger and are easier to hold onto and they tend to bite less!

There are only two types of hamster: Dwarf and Syrian. There are three species of Dwarf hamster, and only one species of Syrian. If you do not want a dwarf for some reason, the only other option is a Syrian.

Syrians grow to 6-8 inches in length. They come in numerous color variations, sometimes referred to as 'teddy bear' or 'panda bear' or 'black bear', but they are still syrian hamsters. They are large, require a larger cage than dwarf hamsters, and make nice pets.
